Questions people ask
Will it sound like a robot?
No. Current AI voices sound natural, and yours answers in plain, friendly language. It still tells callers it's an AI assistant, because they deserve to know who they're talking to.
What if a caller asks something it doesn't know?
It says so, takes a message, and sends it straight to you. It never makes up prices, promises, or appointment times.
Do I have to change my phone number?
No. Your number stays the same. Calls you don't pick up forward to your receptionist after a few rings. That works with the major cell carriers and most business phone systems. Google Voice can only forward every call, so if you use it, I'll set it up a little differently.
Are calls recorded?
Yes, calls are recorded and transcribed so your summaries are accurate. Illinois law requires everyone on a call to consent to recording, so your receptionist says so at the start of every call.
Where does caller information go?
To you. Summaries go to your email, and by text once your number is registered for business texting. I don't sell or share your customers' information.
